My nails of the week: Blue Addicted
As you may know, I post “My Nails Of The Week” photos for almost 1,5 year now on my Twitter. I’m a huge nail polish addict and I give myself complete manicure treatment once at week. Today, on my nails is fantastic and cute nail polish “Blue Addicted” (semi-sheer royal blue with a green and blue chunks of glitter) in combination with Astor creamy blue polish. What do you have on your nails? Are you afraid of dark deep blue colors? I think they are fantastic for summer but also they are appropriate for a winter too!

Makeup For Christmas & New Year’s Eve
I do hope you’ll enjoy the holidays. To make it a little bit easier I’ve created a festive makeup look that you can wear to any gathering – maybe a party – or in the comforts of your own home. I used a combination of silver, gold and red with some new techniques such as the combination of liquid and classic eyeshadow. This should be the most detailed tutorial I’ve created so far so I do hope you enjoy it. You’ll get a step-by-step walkthrough to the final makeup look while listening to the beautiful music of Adrianne Pierce.
Rainbow Eyes Tutorial
Time goes by so fast. I was very busy with photo shoots but somehow, I hade one sunday off and here is new makeup tutorial for you. I was inspired by my favorite painter Pesare. His artwork is amazingly beautiful and really special to me. Please, check his gallery http://pesare.deviantart.com. Hope you will enjoy.
Eyeshadow Sleek Molten Metal
Last month Sleek came out with very pigmented silvery cream eyeshadow – “Molten Metal – Moonlit Metals” in “Steel” and “Ash”.They also make a golden version called “Pewter & Gold Leaf”.This eyeshadow is inspired by the current fashion trends for autumn/winter 2011.
After three weeks of testing this product, I have to say I am quite impressed. Creating shades is effortless and thanks to its liquid consistency — it is easy to work with it. In a minute you can create a standard smokey look…

Makeup for Fall/Winter 2011
While I was in Osijek (my birth town in Croatia) I had some free time to create this warm, cute and simple makeup look for these cold days in which we are living now. I was inspired by beautiful and very talented singer Katie Melua which I love to listen. Did you hear her song “9 Million bicycles”?
Interview with Alex Box
Past month I had chance to meet and interview amazingly talented and creative makeup artist – Alex Box during her trip to Zagreb. She was in my hometown to open the first Illamasqua makeup store in Croatia. Besides her own work, she works as Illamasqua’s art director too. To me her work is like from some other planet, unique, brave and inspiring. Hope you enjoy in these 20 minutes with Alex…

How To Apply Red Lipstick
If you are looking for a glamorous look for special occasions and don’t want to risk you can always pull out red lips. You simply can’t go wrong with the right red lipstick for your complexion and apply it properly. There are thousand of red shades on the market and it can sometimes be tricky to choose the right one. It can be scary but in fact it’s not so hard. It’s Important is to understand your skin tone, since it can be warm or cold. There are many methods to discovering your skin tone but the easiest is to look at the wains on the wrist.
If they are blue or purple you. If they are green you have a warm skin tone. If you can’t decide because they are sometimes green and sometimes blue – you are neutral. That means that your skin has a combination of cool and warm undertones.
How To Eyeshadow Base & Primer
This product very often ends up forgotten in daily makeup routines. A good eyeshadow base is important because it prevent your eyeshadow from creasing, smudging and or fading. It comes in the tube form or in the packaged like lipgloss with a doefoot applicator. The most expensive eyeshadow on the market wouldn’t last too long without a good eyeshadow primer. Be aware od of the differences between eye primer and eye base.
Eye primer as its name says is made to prepare your eyelid for eyeshadow application. The eye base is made to bring out certain colors in your shadow, but it will not prevent it from creasing, fading etc. Many producers claims that they their eye bases also act as a primer. They certainly can, especially if you have dry lids,or mono lids, but if you have oily lids combine eye primer with an eye base to get the most from it.
How To Apply Concealer & Powder
Concealer is a little cute cream product that will conceal any discoloration on your skin as well as dark circles and baggy eyes. You can buy it in a jar or pot, stick, tube or in packaging with a wand (packed same as lipgloss). Concealers in a jar/stick are usually creamy and concealers in a tube are more like a liquid.
The good thing with cream concealers are that they usually give heavier coverage but they can crease after a few hours. average liquid concealers tend to give lighter coverage (of course, there are some exceptional concealers it the market) so you need to apply 2 or sometimes 3 coats to get the full coverage.
How to Apply Foundation with a Brush in 3 Easy Steps
Moisturizer makes the external layers of the skin (epidermis) softer and more hydrated. It doesn’t matter if your skin is oily or normal: it’s good to moisturize because it prevents premature signs of aging. It also makes your skin smooth and elastic, as well as prevents dry patches or skin flaking. If you have dry skin you simply can’t go without moisturizer whatever if you wear foundation or no even if you aren’t wearing a foundation. You can find good moisturizers in many forms: pots, tubes, gels…

I see many on the YouTube that use hand sanitizers before applying products with their fingers to their face.
